Cameron VFW #2010, located in Milam County, can be found at 1129 N Hwy 36 in Cameron, Texas. Cameron has a population of 5,052 according to the sign at the city limits. As you can tell from the photo, we arrived when there wasn’t an event happening.
On the door we found a flyer announcing a band we know about, The Can’t Hardly Playboyz from Granger, Texas.
We were unable to see what the inside looks like, but we did read the plaque dedicated to the veterans outside the building.
It was nice to see they discourage drinks on the dance floor! We also noted the box for old flags to be disposed of properly.
Since we couldn’t get in, we turned on the radio and danced outside.
If you like Karaoke, the 1st and 3rd Fridays in Cameron looks like the place to be!
This VFW has a huge parking lot and the building is large, so we assume a lot of people enjoy dancing here. We may be back to hear a band in the future!
