Conway’s, 262 W. Jahn Street, New Braunfels, is closed on Mondays. Sundays they have live acoustic music from 3:00 – 7:00 and chicken bingo at 2 pm. It’s not really an old dance hall, but they have lots of live music and a cute, little dance floor.
Lots of activity area available outside, and it’s pet friendly – outside only. They have train shots available – when the train goes by – shots are on special.
We came through in the afternoon on our way through town, so missed the live evening music. We did dance a West Coast Swing on the dance floor. Then we spent some time looking at all the Conway Twitty photos and references. For a newer venue it has some old time feel and was a pleasant stop.
