Sealy American Legion Hall #442: Visited Oct 2, 2021.

The American Legion Hall in Sealy at 1630 Meyer was chartered in 1919. The hall was built around 1934. They are open Wednesdays from 10-1 and Friday’s from 12-3:30, unless there is a dance. Call 979-885-7271 for information.

According to Dance Halls and Last Calls by Geronimo Trevino III the building was at one time used as a skating rink.

Our short dance in the parking lot will have to do until we can return for a live band.

Across the street is the former site of Club Rendezvous. Short (very short) bit of information about Club Rendezvous can be found here.
