Sons of Hermann at 9611 Decker Lake Rd, Austin is one of the lost / converted halls on our list. The building is still standing but it has been converted to Iglesia Evangelica El Rehanente De Dios.
Pulling into the parking lot we did hear music coming from inside, but we weren’t willing (this time) to enter and explore the interior.
I could find very little information on the hall. Stephen Dean’s notes say he thinks the building was constructed in the 1970’s. At one time it had regular dances and could be rented out. It was Austin Lodge No. 120.
