We were invited out to a relatively new dance place in Buda, Buck’s Backyard the first Sunday of 2020. Buck’s is at 1750 S FM 1626 in Buda.. Buck’s opened in 2017 and if you like antlers, this is the place for you!
Buck’s is a huge venue, on fifteen acres. They host live music inside on Friday and Saturday nights, with outdoor concerts in the amphitheater June through November. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a fantastic trio of musicians. Luke Garrison, Dean Kelley and Omar Mireles, who played a great mix of dance music.
Buck’s Backyard is family and dog friendly, located right on Onion Creek.
They have lots of outdoor space for kids to play under big shade trees, plus patio games to keep them busy.
June through November you can catch one of their outdoor concerts in the backyard amphitheater.
Shugabees has a food shack outside the venue.
Plenty of food options indoors.
Lots of seating around the dance floor.
Outdoor patio benches to enjoy the sunshine, take your pets or smoke.
The large bar has friendly staff.
Lots of daylight comes in the garage door onto the dance floor.
Our group enjoyed the smooth concrete floor and the wonderful mix of music.
